Does lymphatic drainage hurt?
No. Lymphatic drainage at Dimple Amani is completely pain-free and deeply relaxing — many clients actually fall asleep during the session. Unlike deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic strokes to encourage fluid movement just below the skin's surface. It feels like a gentle wave flowing through the body. Who should not have lymphatic drainage?
Lymphatic drainage is safe for all skin types and body types. However, if you have any medical condition, we recommend checking with your doctor before booking. In particular, please consult your doctor first if you have: active infections, blood clots or deep vein thrombosis, heart conditions, lymphedema, active acne or skin infections (for facial treatments), or recent injectables such as fillers or Botox within the last 2 weeks (for facial treatments).
